Following the assessment and results, a three-hour workshop will be schedule giving nonprofit teams a practical understanding of generative AI and how to use it more effectively in their day-to-day work. Through hands-on exercises and guided discussion, participants will strengthen prompting skills and identify high-value opportunities for AI across the organization.

  • Generative AI Overview - An introduction to generative AI, how these tools work, and what nonprofit teams should understand about their capabilities and limitations.
  • Prompting in Practice - A hands-on session focused on writing and improving prompts that can support everyday work across departments. Tech Impact will use Microsoft Copilot for demonstration purposes, though participants may explore other tools as appropriate.
  • Identifying AI Opportunities - A facilitated exercise to help participants identify, discuss, and prioritize practical AI use cases based on organizational needs, impact, and feasibility.
