Tracking Community Health Through Wastewater

Sewage surveillance can help detect community health factors like viruses and drug use in advance of conventional measures. The Data Lab partnered with local county government to fine-tune wastewater viral load measurements of COVID-19 and later high-risk substance use to help direct the appropriate resources.

Data Lab Fellowships

Join Our Team

Tech Impact's Data Lab runs one year Fellowship out of its offices in Newark, DE and is intended for technologists with a deep technical skill set and a strong desire to serve their communities.  Hosting between 8 - 10 individuals from varying backgrounds at a time, Fellows are paid, full-time staff members with associated benefits. Fellows work with our partners to design, develop, and deploy production-grade solutions to social good problems. Applications for the coming year cohort open each January.
