Data, AI, and Automation Training
As Generative AI becomes increasingly utilized, you or your team may be struggling to generate the answers you are looking for when prompting ChatGPT, Copilot, or any of the myriad of other GenAI tools. Learning how to "teach" AI what answers you are actually looking for involves creating clear and specific prompts – otherwise known as prompt engineering:
❌ “Tell me about AI.”
❌ “What are the benefits of AI in nonprofits?”
❌ “How can AI help nonprofits increase operational efficiency and better serve their communities?”
✔️ “Provide three real-world examples of AI tools used by nonprofits to increase operational efficiency and community impact. Briefly describe how each tool works and its outcomes.
Created specifically to show organizations how to get the most out of using Generative AI, this engaging workshop on the essentials of prompt design for generative AI tools. This course explores how to craft clear, concise, and specific prompts that yield accurate and actionable insights. Whether you're looking to find answers, generate ideas, or solve challenges, this session will equip you with practical strategies to enhance your nonprofit's work using AI.
An engaging workshop session designed specifically for organizations interested in implementing Artificial Intelligence, this session will be facilitated by nonprofit technology leaders and will focus on ideation and feasibility of using AI and automation in your organization to adapt, and scale innovative solutions to address development, humanitarian, and conservation challenges.
As generative AI technologies have become more readily available, nonprofit organizations are uniquely positioned to harness their immense potential to broaden their impact on communities. As nonprofits begin to integrate generative AI into their work, it will be important for them to be thoughtful about the ethical implications of the tools and the impacts that they may have on their communities.
In this training, our subject matter expert explores the complexities of ethical data use in the fast-evolving landscape of artificial intelligence tools and the guardrails nonprofits should consider when engaging with AI to ensure they do so in an ethical, responsible, and safe way.
Dashboards are on everybody's mind - for good reason. Who doesn't want a quick and easy snapshot of organizational data that updates seamlessly?
This training starts with a brief introduction to the concept of dashboarding, followed by an overview of the Power BI platform. Power BI allows for the automation of data manipulation and aggregation steps, which can save overburdened non-profit professionals a lot of time on reporting. Power BI is also a data visualization platform, which is the functionality we’ll focus on when demoing interactive dashboard creation steps and publishing steps.
In this interactive workshop, our subject matter expert will guide you through an introductory exploration of Power Automate. Formerly known as Microsoft Flow, Power Automate enables you to reduce repetitive tasks by automating your workflow, allowing you to accomplish more with less effort.
During this interactive webinar you will:
- Learn the basic principles of Power Automate workflows.
- Learn about premium connectors and Dataverse.
- Build automations that can be triggered by specific actions or conditions.
- Learn how to use data and information collected from those triggers to perform specific tasks.
- Experiment with flows and correct any issues.
- Learn about Power Automate and Copilot AI Automation.
*For the full experience anyone following along and participating will want to have a Power Automate Premium license.
Digital Strategy, Web, and Branding Training
Only 35% of nonprofits have succeeded in developing a formal digital strategy. Have you?
After decades of working with our nonprofit clients, we noted they often lack the skills and resources to fully capitalize on the digital tools we provide—websites, social strategy, e-newsletters, search engine marketing, analytics, and other platforms that increase online engagement and measure impact. DIG was developed to help nonprofit staff gain the skills, perspective, and strategies they need to leverage digital platforms to raise funds, engage stakeholders, and better serve communities on their own and without the constant need of outside consultants.
The program results in a Digital Impact Plan—a strategic and tactical playbook for a digital strategy that nonprofit staff create and implement in a real-world campaign. Along the way, they also learn what consultants know: how to think strategically about digital engagement, including how to make data-driven decisions, find areas of strength or weakness, or identify a return on investment.
Participants in this in-depth, cohort-based program walk away not just understanding how to use digital tools but how to design and run digital campaigns—defining the goals they need to achieve, the audiences they should target, the research that informs their strategy, the most effective channels to use, and the data collection methods to measure success.
