Tech Impact Brings on Heidi Erpelding-Welch as Chief Program Officer

Tech Impact announces the addition of Heidi Erpelding-Welch as Chief Programs Officer to oversee the IT workforce development programs across the country.

LAS VEGAS, NV (January 5, 2023)Tech Impact today announces the addition of Heidi Erpelding-Welch as Chief Program Officer. Erpelding-Welch will be responsible for ensuring the IT workforce development programs continue to fit the workforce needs of each of the locations where Tech Impact’s programs are currently offered and that the programs are leading to employment outcomes and opportunities for participants. She will also lead the development of partnerships and engagement with organizations that value alternative paths to employment and want to support workforce opportunities for underrepresented populations in IT.

Heidi is a graduate of Leadership Las Vegas through the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and continues to serve on the education committee for the organization. She has also held many volunteer roles throughout her five years at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she served as Director of Continuing Education and Director, Sands Center for Professional Development.  Prior to the University of Las Vegas, Heidi also oversaw programs with the National Park Service and Cornell University.
