Tech Impact CEO Patrick Callihan sat down with the Delaware Business Times to discuss the organization’s recent announcement of their expansion to Nashville, TN.
“We never want to train someone for a job that may not be there. And we look at other programs that may cover what we’re doing,” Callihan said. “One that bubbled to the top was Nashville because it has a very fast growing tech sector and a 15% youth unemployment rate in a city that has a 3% unemployment rate. Looking at that, you see there’s quite a disparity there, particularly those from a diverse background.”
