Ready to kickstart your IT career?
ITWorks is a proven training program, preparing young adults for entry-level IT careers.
Students spend the first 11 weeks learning about PC hardware, troubleshooting, IT networking, security, and more to prepare for the Cisco IT Essentials and the CompTIA A+ certifications. Then, students gain real-life, hands-on experience during a five-week internship at a local corporation or nonprofit.
Graduates are prepared for roles as Help Desk Technicians, End User Support Techs, IT Specialists, Field Technicians, and more.

ITWorks is free to qualifying prospects due to the support of generous local, regional, and national foundations, donors, and government programs.
Classes are held in the downtown areas of Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Nashville, and Wilmington, DE. Travel stipends are provided as well as laptops and other assistance.

Tech Impact ITWorks is authorized for operation as a postsecondary educational institution by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. Credits earned at Tech Impact may not transfer to another educational institution. Credits earned at another educational institution may not be accepted by Tech Impact. You should obtain confirmation that Tech Impact will accept any credits you have earned at another educational institution before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement. You should also contact any educational institutions that you may want to transfer credits earned at Tech Impact to determine if such institutions will accept credits earned at Tech Impact prior to executing an enrollment contract or agreement.
The ability to transfer credits from Tech Impact to another educational institution may be very limited. Your credits may not transfer and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at Tech Impact if you enroll in another educational institution. You should never assume that credits will transfer to or from any educational institution. It is highly recommended and you are advised to make certain that you know the transfer of credit policy of [name of institutions giving disclosure] and of any other educational institutions you may in the future want to transfer the credits earned at Tech Impact before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement.
