Heidi Erpelding-Welch

Heidi Erpelding-Welch joined Tech Impact as Chief Program Officer in 2021 with over two decades of experience in developing adult education and professional development programs across the country. In her role, Heidi oversees the organization’s IT Workforce Development programs in Las Vegas, Philadelphia, and Delaware and is responsible for Tech Impact’s robust portfolio of corporate, foundation, and government grants and funding. She leads a team of technical instructors, program managers, and development professionals all working towards the collective goal of empowering individuals and organizations to leverage technology for greater social impact.

Heidi is a passionate and outspoken advocate for creating opportunities to diversify the workforce and reaching individuals who otherwise would not have an avenue to continue their education and career paths. Both personally and professionally, Heidi is privileged to be surrounded by really smart people who care.  She resides in the Las Vegas area with her very patient spouse, two kids who are already smarter than her, and one huge, lovable mutt.
