Technology Intervention for Community Change
This program is made possible by E*TRADE Bank’s corporate grant program and targets nonprofits which focus on affordable housing, economic development and healthcare across the Greater Washington Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).
Ten grantees were selected in both 2015 and 2016, to receive a comprehensive technology assessment conducted by Tech Impact’s highly skilled staff. The assessment identified gaps and outlined a road-map for improving tech capacity over the long term. Tech Impact then worked with the grantee to implement one or more of the following solutions:
- Infrastructure Upgrade: upgrade of network, workstation, or both depending on client need.
- Cloud Migrations: migration of hosted email or document management to Office 365 including hands on training.
- Database Implementation: Design and customization of Salesforce followed by user training to meet donor management, case management, or other database needs. Hands on Tech Support including network monitoring and maintenance and help desk services.
Nonprofit participants include:
- Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing
- Bridges to Independence
- H Street Community Development Corporation
- Interfaith Housing Alliance
- H Street Community Development Corporation
