Project Details
A Strategic Technology Plan engagement typically takes 12 weeks, broken into three sections - discovery, findings, and recommendations.
Formally launching with a project kick-off meeting, our team will discuss project logistics, timelines, team structure, and key ways we will work together.
As part of the Discovery phase, we will accomplish three key tasks:
- Customize and deliver organizational survey
- Schedule and conduct individual interviews
Collect documentation on strategic plan, budget, job descriptions, and policies
During the Findings phase, we will conduct in-depth assessments of your organization. Taking the inputs from our Discovery engagement, we will then evaluate your technology and operations landscape with close attention to documenting any limitations or barriers presented by technology. Across each dimension, we evaluate processes, people and systems to accomplish a holistic understanding of the current state of your systems to determine where enhancements would be relevant and beneficial.

Once assessments are complete, we will collectively align our findings across dimensions. As part of this process, we will address overlap in your systems and will highlight our insights gathered from our survey, interviews and assessments. At this stage, we will review our findings to your project team, to ensure we have appropriately captured insights.
Finally, during the Recommendations phase, we define recommendations by gathering resources, collecting cost-estimates for solutions and sharing a budget for recommendations made to your organization. We will build your customized recommendations creating final deliverables, budgeted to your specific needs and use. The deliverables for the engagement are:
- Copies of the kickoff, findings and final presentations
- Budget spreadsheet that includes all costs associated with the recommendations as well as a prioritized project list
- Project report reviewing all the findings, survey results, recommendations and helpful appendices
- Executive summary of the recommendations.
