Sarah Kelley
Sarah Kelley is a leader in the AI for good space and is passionate about technology’s potential to accelerate impact for nonprofits. Sarah brings a technical lens to her work as Director of Outcomes AI at Project Evident, backed by over ten years of experience as a data scientist and applied AI developer in the social sector. In her work at Project Evident, she supports nonprofits at all stages of the AI adoption journey in equitable and effective AI implementation. Her work runs the gamut from fine tuning to developing sophisticated AI-evaluation frameworks to assess model performance in real time to helping organizations that have never touched AI get started with this technology. Previously, she was the Co-Director of Data Science at Child Trends, where her work focused on applying AI and data science methods to a diverse range of social science problems. Beyond that, Sarah led extensive AI adoption efforts within the organization. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s in Quantitative Sociology from Yale University and a Master’s in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
