Sarah Scharinger
Sarah Scharinger is a results-driven leader with over 16 years of experience in nonprofit management, program development, and organizational strategy. As the Chief Administrative Officer at Cornerstones of Care, Sarah oversees essential infrastructure functions, including IT, facilities, and risk management.
Sarah is recognized for her ability to balance strategy with attention to detail. Since joining Cornerstones of Care in 2022, she has implemented critical organizational changes, including transitioning a major IT contract and introducing a dedicated Information Security role. These initiatives have improved operational efficiency and positioned the organization to embrace innovation.
Sarah’s career reflects her passion for building systems and structures that empower nonprofit organizations to thrive. A Kansas native, Sarah began her career in social work after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Kansas State University. She later obtained an Executive Master of Public Administration from the University of Missouri–Kansas City, specializing in nonprofit management and public policy. Her early experiences as a case manager shaped her commitment to serving vulnerable populations, and her transition into leadership roles reflects her ability to build infrastructure that supports frontline teams.
