Hec Maldonado-Reis
Héc Maldonado-Reis (they/them/elle) is the Director of Impact Strategy at Tech Impact where they assist our clients with the strategic assessment, planning, measurement & evaluation services they need to design and advance their social impact missions. Héc is an engineer, data scientist, and population & public health professional experienced at facilitating collaborations between government, nonprofit and private sectors. Prior to this role, Héc served as Tech Impact's Data Innovation Lab Director of Research Development & Analytics.
Outside of Tech Impact, Héc is an executive board member of various nonprofit organization’s both with local and global reach and is a Social Impact Strategy Teaching Fellow at University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice's Center for Social Impact Strategy (CSIS).
Héc holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering and an MPH in Environmental & Occupational Health both from Rutgers University, an AM in Population Health Science from Harvard University and is an accelerated student in the MS in Nonprofit Leadership program at the University of Pennsylvania. When not at work, you'll likely find them out for a long walk, or on a spontaneous road-trip with their husband Thomas, and Aussie pup, Sage.
