Managing Director of Impact Strategy

Héc Maldonado-Reis (they/them/elle) is the Managing Director of Tech Impact's Impact Strategy Team which assists and advises our clients with the strategic technology assessment & planning, measurement and evaluation services they need to design and advance their social impact missions. Héc is an engineer, data scientist, and population & public health professional experienced at facilitating collaborations between government, nonprofit and private sectors.

Outside of Tech Impact, Héc is an executive board member of various nonprofit organization’s both with local and global reach and is former Social Impact Strategy Teaching Fellow at University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice's Center for Social Impact Strategy (CSIS).

Héc holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering and an MPH in Environmental & Occupational Health both from Rutgers University, an AM in Population Health Sciences from Harvard University and is MS in Nonprofit Leadership candidate University of Pennsylvania. When not at talking about technology and social impact, you'll likely find them out for a long walk, or on a spontaneous road-trip with their husband, and Aussie pup.
